Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida reportedly tied the knot on Wednesday January 15 about a month after their much publicized breakup and end of a relationship of 12 years.

A source close to the family says that Toke Makinwa was genuinely surprised, she had no idea of Maje’s plan and the wedding can be described as a fairytale wedding, very unsual..

Maje Ayida had planned with a popular magazine (name withheld) to invite Toke Makinwa to a photoshoot which was to take place on the Island. At the hotel where she was dressed up, a wedding dress was made available, (I’m sure the wedding gown was lovely), her hair and make-up was done as well.

On her arrival at the Photoshoot location after leaving the hotel, met Maje Ayida, her sister and the people from the registry who came to officiate the wedding already waiting there. We don’t have the details of what exactly transpired before she accepted, but she did accept and rings were exchanged. Our congrats are in order when we wish Mrs Toke Makinwa Ayida a happy married life!

Maje Ayida has also rented an apartment for his lovely wife and himself at Lekki, with a cook and driver at Toke’s beck and call.
