16 Years With My Wife Has Been Filled With Love And Blessings – Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has jumped on social media to celebrate his wife on their wedding anniversary.

The movie star recently flaunted a throwback picture to celebrate their 16 years of solid marriage.

According to him, their long years together have been a period of love and blessings and he is lucky to have her.

He added that he is grateful for the love, support, and joy she has given him since they tied the knot several years ago.

His words, “Happy 16th wedding anniversary to us, me and my beautiful wife @mayyuledochie. 16yrs of love and blessings. I’m grateful to God Almighty for this day. I thank my darling, my genius wife for the love, support and so much more. Joy, blessings, protection, favour, wisdom and all good things will never seize in our lives forever, Amen! Nollywood is a sobriquet that originally referred to the Nigerian film industry. The origin of the term dates back to the early 2000s, traced to an article in The New York Times. The origin of the term “Nollywood” remains unclear; Jonathan Haynes traced the earliest usage of the word to a 2002 article by Matt Steinglass in the New York Times, where it was used to describe Nigerian cinema.

Charles Igwe noted that Norimitsu Onishi also used the name in a September 2002 article he wrote for the New York Times. Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
