‘Views’ is The First Album To Reach 1 Billion Streams on Apple Music

Drake‘s Views has set a new streaming record.

Released in April, the chart-topping set from the Canadian rapper is the first album to reach an unprecedented 1 billion streams on Apple Music.

To celebrate the major milestone, Apple presented the 6 God with a huge plaque during the San Jose stop on his “Summer Sixteen Tour” over the weekend. Drizzy accepted the award from Apple CEO Tim Cook, Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue, and Apple Music’s head of content, Larry Jackson.

“Thank you to everyone”, Drake wrote on Instagram, before providing a close-up of the commemoration piece.
