Rafa Nadal Set To Marry Girlfriend Of 14 Years, Mery Perelló

Rafa Nadal is currently engaged to girlfriend of 14 years, Mery Perelló and they might be about to get married.

According to Hello!, the duo are working on heading to the altar this autumn in Mallorca and have secretly been engaged for close to one year.

Hello’s sister publication HOLA! also shared that Spanish player Rafa, 32, proposed to Mery, 30, an insurance worker and business graduate far back in May during a romantic trip to Rome in Italy.

The couple agreed on keeping the cute news private for the first eight months of their engagement.

Nadal recently talked about his desire to have kids, describing himself as a ‘family guy’.

His words, “I would love to have children, boys, girls… I’m a person who loves kids and I’m a family guy.

‘But also I tell you that the reality is, the years keep passing, I would like to start to do all of this when my sporting life determines it.”
