Nigeria’s Herbal Coronavirus Cure Was Immediately Ignored – Prof. Maurice Iwu

Professor Maurice Iwu, a former Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman and currently the Chairman, Imo State government instituted COVID-19 management committee has come to say that Nigerians did not pay attention when he announced to the world that the country has a local treatment for the virus.

Iwu recently revealed that no one even bothered to examine his data when the announcement was made, showing a complete lack of faith in the treatment.

According to him, the pure compound he and his team proposed is called Andrographolide, and it is one of the most extensively studied compounds in nature, but it was immediately ignored by the general public.

He, however, added that herbal treatments have a future in Nigeria because everyone is slowly realizing that nature is the most efficient healer and with fewer risks.

On Coronavirus cure from Madagascar, “It is an interesting development. When we announced to the world about three months ago that we have a treatment for COVID – 19 based on solid scientific evidence and patents, nobody even bothered to examine our data.

The pure compound we proposed is called Andrographolide. It is one of the most extensively studied compounds in nature. In one of the published reports, Andrographis has been clinically evaluated about 33 times in full blown clinical trials.

A meta-analysis, indicated that the trials (when combined) involved 7,175 patients in cohorts on the use of A. paniculata for symptomatic relief of acute respiratory tract infections in both children and adults.
