I Thank God For Directing Me To My Husband – Funke Bucknor

Popular event planner, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe and her husband are currently marking their 14th wedding anniversary.

She recently revealed the good news on social media, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to her, even if they have experienced troubling times in their marriage, they keep learning and growing together.

She added that their union has not been a perfect ride, but it will surely be a memorable journey for both of them.

Her words, “14 years ago , we both took that leap and said I do on the 20th of January . He won’t admit it but he cried that day oh lollll as soon as he saw me walking down the aisle .
How I walked slowly that day I don’t even know but i my dad held me down lollll .

It’s been a journey and a half. It’s not been a perfect ride as most things in life aren’t and we’ve been tempted “ to get of the train , bus or plane “ but hey , we’re still here lolll.

There is no perfect marriage , as it’s two imperfect people coming together as one ….. but we’ve recognized the humbling fact that every marriage is different, different people , ideals , situations , circumstances and challenges.”
