Nigeria Police Force Is Proving That Fulanis Are Above The Law – Afenifere

The Pan Yoruba Socio-Political Group, Afenifere has come out to reveal its total disgust at the charging of only seven Yoruba to court over the clash between Hausa and Yoruba in Shaha market in lbadan Oyo state.

The spokesman of the group, Yinka Odumakin recently revealed this in a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the police should show more impartiality when they discharge their duties else Nigerians will not take them seriously.

He added that the police obviously showed that Fulanis are above the law in Nigeria with their arrests, and that should no be the case.

His words “Afenifere expresses total disgust at the charging of only seven Yoruba men over what wassupposed to be a clash between Hausa andYoruba in Shaha.”

“lt is a tragic throwback to three years ago when only Indigenous ifesarrested when they clashed in the ancient city.”

“The police should show more impartiality. Where are the arsonists whoburnt down the Yoruba section of the market? Fulanis are above the law? A country cannot go on this way.”
