Reports Saying Altercation Has Been Done In Electoral Act Amendment Bill Are False – Gbajabiamila

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has come out to say that there is no alteration in the Electoral Act Amendment Bill.

He recently revealed this when he reacted to a point on matters of privilege by Rep Ugouna Ozurigbo (APC-Imo) at Tuesday’s plenary in Abuja.

According to him, the rumors surrounding the alteration in the Electoral Act Amendment Bill are far from true, and he won’t like to say more than that until the report is submitted to the House.

He added that the chairman of the committee has denied the reports so they should not be believed.

His words, “I really don’t want to speak on a report that has not yet been submitted to the House.”

“I have asked the chairman of the committee and she said that nothing of such has been done.”
