England manager, Gareth Southgate is set to receive a knighthood if England go on to win Euro 2020 on Sunday.

The Telegraph recently revealed this to English football fans, and the world has been reacting.

According to the entertainment tabloid, Three Lions captain, Kane and England player, Sterling will also have their MBEs upgraded should they lift the trophy.

The only other England managers to be knighted were 1966 World Cup-winning boss Alf Ramsey and Bobby Robson – who guided the team to the 1990 World Cup semi-finals, while Bobby Robson’s 2002 knighthood was more for his contributions to the sport in general.
