You Must Be Heartless To Kill People While They Pray – Gov. Sani Bello

Nigerian State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has come out to blast the attack and subsequent killing of worshippers at a Mosque in Ba’ari community, Mashegu Local Government Area of the state.

He recently revealed this via a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mary Noel-Berje, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, it is very sad that people no longer respect the sanctity of life and places of worship to the extent of killing people who are praying.

He added that his heart goes out to the family members of the victims and he hopes for Allah to grant their souls Aljannah Firdausi.

His words, “It is unfortunate that some people no longer respect the sanctity of life and places of worship such that they kill people while praying.”

“My heart goes out to the family members of the victims for Allah to grant their souls Aljannah Firdausi and give quick recovery to those that were injured.”

“This is in addition to a spate of protracted and worsening conflicts and the global climate crisis. Globally, 426 million children live in conflict zones.”

“Meanwhile, an estimated 1 billion children – nearly half of the world’s children – live in countries that are at an ‘extremely high-risk’ from the impacts of climate change.”

“Through collective action, we can end the pandemic and reverse the alarming rollback in child health and nutrition. We can work with governments and partners to ensure critical investments for an inclusive and resilient recovery.”

“We can build back stronger by ensuring quality education, protection, and good mental health for every child. And we can strengthen systems to better prevent, respond to, and protect children from crises – including new approaches to end famines, to predict and protect children from climate change.”
