Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos has come out to announce that he is giving away his $124 billion fortune.

He recently revealed this during a sit-down interview with CNN, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, he plans to donate the majority of his net worth to charities during his lifetime, and these funds will be dedicated towards fighting climate change and supporting people who can help to heal political and social divisions.

His words, “The hard part is figuring out how to do it in a levered way.”

“It’s not easy. Building Amazon was not easy. It took a lot of hard work, a bunch of very smart teammates, hard-working teammates, and I’m finding — and I think Lauren is finding the same thing — that charity, philanthropy, is very similar.”
