I’ll Make Life Easier For Ekiti Pensioners – Governor Biodun Oyebanji

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has come out to reiterate his commitment to fulfilling all his electoral promises to pensioners.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, these pensioners expended their energies serving the state during their productive years, so they deserve to be taken care of now that they are much older.

Biodun added that by January 2024, he’ll dedicate a fixed amount for the payment of their gratuity every month.

His words, “How could someone work for that number of years and now can’t afford what to eat? This is not good enough. We will continue to attend to your welfare to make life easier for you.

By January 2024, we will dedicate a fixed amount for the payment of your gratuity monthly at both state and local governments.

Labour is agitating for a wage increase for workers, they also have the right. We will look for ways to balance the two. We have to balance everything and make sure everybody is happy.”
