FG Should Ban The Importation Of Medical Syringes – Dr. Tunji Alausa

The Minister of State for Health, Dr Tunji Alausa has come out to call for a total ban on the importation of medical syringes into the country.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the deserved ban would definitely help to encourage local production of the syringes and help to grow the nation’s economy.

He added that the Federal Government is determined to provide necessary support to the local manufacturing sector to enhance its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product, GDP.
