USA And India Couldn’t Treat Mr. Ibu Because It Was Impossible For Him To Fly Out – Emeka Rollas

The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has come out to explain why Mr. Ibu wasn’t flown abroad to receive medical care while battling with his ailment.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the late Mr Ibu was rejected by hospitals in the United States and India because his prognosis made it impossible for him to board a flight.

He added that the countries said whoever had that kind of prognosis cannot survive a flight to any nation.

His words, “There was a time we wanted to fly Ibu abroad, but when we escalated the doctor’s reference and his prognosis, almost all the hospitals in India and America rejected him and said whoever that has this kind of prognosis cannot survive flight to any country.”

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
