Olumide Bakare is hale & hearty – Jide Kosoko

Contrary to reports that veteran Nollywood actor Olumide Bakare is critically ill, suffering from a life-threatening heart ailment, veteran actor Jide Kosoko says it’s not true.

When TheNetng reached out to the Association of Nigeria Theatre Practitioners (ANTP) president, Jide Kosoko, Jide said he was ‘unaware of Bakare’s situation’ but promised to reach out to Bakare’s family and get back to TheNetng.

Kosoko in a phone chat with their correspondent yesterday (December 17, 2013) Kosoko explained:

You can quote me anywhere; I am calling to let you know that Olumide Bakare is hale and hearty. He was a little ill but he’s ok now. As I am talking to you, he is in the US on holidays

Kosoko added.
