Policemen And Soldiers Who Sell Weapons To Criminals Must Be Stopped – Ribadu

The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu has come out to blast policemen and soldiers who steal arms and ammunition to sell to criminal elements.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, security agents who are involved in such an act are terrible human beings, and efforts must be put in place to check those people asap.

Ribadu added that such people must be stopped for Nigerians to go back to living in peace and stability.

His words, “We have to find a way of putting a stop to this. We must if we want to recover our country and live in peace and stability. The worst human being is a policeman or a soldier who will take arms from his own formations and sell them or hide them out for the bad people to come and kill his own colleagues.

We must fight these people but also there are merchants of death and evil from outside the world.

The proliferation of illicit small arms and light weapons remains a major threat to our national security, exacerbating issues such as insurgency, banditry, and other violent crimes.”
