Former Nigerian senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has come out to share how he was defrauded of $3.5 million by his South African partner when he attempted to purchase a cinema complex in Kenya.

He recently had his say while speaking at the 4th Peace Anyiam Osigwe (PAO) Nigeria Digital Content Regulation Conference, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, after he transferred the said sum to his South African partner, the person in question actually registered the business in his own name, making him lose the huge investment.

Ben added that his next step in the entertainment industry would be movie making, and he intends to deal with fundamental issues.

His words, “I was called to buy a cinema complex in Kenya for $3.5 million. I transferred the money and my South African partner registered it in his name. That was how I lost that huge investment.

I have a studio in Los Angeles and I am battling with litigation with one of the most prominent actors in Hollywood.”

On his plans to start making movies, “The entertainment industry is a very successful one. In all the things I have done, I have never made one move about movie making but now, I will.

I am working on a script and I know we will get it right. We will deal with fundamental issues.”

WOW.
