Exclusive Interview : I get confused for Burna Boy – Donald Nwaenyi, Mr University Africa

May we meet you?
My name is Nwaenyi Donald, from the eastern part of the country IMO STATE. I’m presently Face of Ibadan Style and Fashion Week “ARA, Africa’s Most Wanted Model Best Body, Mr University Africa and fun to be with, top ten contestant for Mr Ideal Nigeria 2014. I have passion for modelling and would like to take it international.

How did you get to know about the competition?
I was surfing the net and came across one of the posters posted online so I decided to try it out and fortunately after much plans and struggle I emerged as the winner

Is this the 1st time you are competing in a modelling contest?
“I’ve done other competitions like mr ideal Nigeria “Top 10 contestant”, Africa’s Most Wanted Model, and also a facial competition “Face of Ibadan style and Fashion Week.

Did you win any?
Yes I emerged as the “best body” Africa’s most wanted model and I also won the facial online competition I did.

Hobbies?
There are many activities I engage in during my leisure time but then, working out is the best of them all.

Who is your role model?
I can’t really say because I get my ideas from many successful models but then, David Agboji is the model I would like to get to where he is.

Your life before and after the competition, what has changed, more girls, more friends?
More friends generally but then in life I’ve learnt how to recognise the friends that have been there for me right from the scratch

The first time I saw your photo, I said damn he looks like Burna boy, have you ever been confused with him in public?
*smiles* I get that on daily basis, in short Burna Boy is almost becoming my name

Have you met him?
No, but I would love to

What does it feel like being Mr University Africa 2014? .
I believe with my title as the mr university africa, am getting closer to being the supermodel I’ve always dreamt of.

What’s your personal philosophy of life?
Everyone has their different philosophies of life which sometimes could be regarded as principles. In the religious aspect, I believe everything we encounter in life has been programmed by God and another thing is that life on its own is a struggle and we all got to strive hard to survive.
