A Joke Directed At Sani Abacha Once Made Me Fear For My Life – Ali Baba

Popular comedian, Ali Baba has come out to recount a scary encounter with former military leader, Sani Abacha.

He recently described it as a near-death experience, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he once joked with Abacha to remove his dark shades to watch the Akwa ibom cultural group perform in Abuja, and all he saw next was DSS officers going backstage to wait for him.

Ali Baba added that he eventually went to where the military leader was to sit next to him, out of fear for his life.

His words, “The first close encounter I had with death was with Sani Abacha. When Abacha was president, Ernest Shonekan had been removed so I went to do an event in Abuja and it was time for the Akwa ibom cultural group to perform. At the time, Abacha was wearing one of those sunglasses that could be folded.
