Former US president, Donald Trump has come out to say that he is supposed to be dead by now.

He recently had his say during in his first interview since a gunman tried to assassinate him on Saturday, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, his lucky escape from death was nothing more than a miracle, and moving his head the second he did was the moment that saved his life.

He added that people are currently calling his viral photo an iconic one, and he did not need to die to earn that tag.

His words, “I’m supposed to be dead.

I rarely look away from the crowd. Had I not done that in that moment, well, we would not be talking today, would we?

The most incredible thing was that I happened to not only turn but to turn at the exact right time and in just the right amount.

The agents hit me so hard that my shoes fell off, and my shoes are tight.

Trump grew up with older siblings Maryanne, Fred Jr., and Elizabeth and younger brother Robert in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens, and attended the private Kew-Forest School from kindergarten through seventh grade.
