Afrobeats Shouldn’t Be Performed At Classless Venues – Rema

Popular singer, Rema recently stormed off a show he was supposed to headline in the United States.

He recently took that step over the terrible state of the venue, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Afrobeat is way too big to be performed at sub standard venues, and he is not willing to lower that standards wherever he performs.

Rema added that even if he respects his fans all over the world, he cannot betray the African sound.

His words, “Afrobeat is way too big to look like this. I don’t want to take rubbish, I respect my fans. We are not doing this. I am going to have to reschedule this show. They have disrespected me and disrespected afrobeat by treating you guys like this. I love you.”
