Ambode Breaks Record As He Does What No Governor Has Ever Done In The History Of Nigeria.

Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of has made history as he presented a budget estimate of N1.046 trillion to members of the House of Assembly.

The governor who christened it ‘budget of progress and development’, said his government would concentrate on completing all ongoing projects in the state while maintaining stability and boosting the economy of the state.

The budget is broken into capital expenditure of N699 billion at 67 percent and a recurrent of N314 billion at 33 percent.

This figure is an increase from the budget of 2016 of N813 billion approved by state House of Assembly.

Governor Ambode also used the opportunity to assess the performance of the 2016 budget.
