Americans Should Make Decisions About Their Bodies Without Government interference – Kamala Harris

Former U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris has come out to back the growing wave of protests against President Donald Trump and billionaire, Elon Musk.

She recently called on Americans to keep raising their voices, and the world has been reacting.

According to her, she can only applaud citizens for standing up to what is nothing but aggressive policy shifts by the Trump administration, and they should remember that the voices of working people will always be louder than the unelected billionaires.

Kamala added that Americans should keep using the power of their voices to fight for their right to make decisions about their own body without government interference.

Her words, “Today in every state across our nation, Americans are standing up to the administration as they implement Project 2025 at full speed.

Thank you for using your voices and the power of protest to stand for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; for the Department of Education and programs like Head Start; for clean air and water; and for the right to make decisions about your own body without government interference.

Kamala Devi Harris, born October 20, 1964) is an American politician and attorney who is the 49th and current vice president of the United States since 2021, under President Joe Biden. She is the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, as well as the first African American and first South Asian American vice president.

A member of the Democratic Party, she served as a U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021, and earlier as the attorney general of California.

Following the withdrawal of Joe Biden from the presidential race, Harris is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party in the 2024 presidential election.

Harris met her future husband, attorney Doug Emhoff, through a mutual friend who set up Harris and Emhoff on a blind date in 2013. Emhoff, who was born in a Jewish family, was an entertainment lawyer who became partner-in-charge at Venable LLP’s Los Angeles office.
