AMVCA Owes No One Any Explanation On How They Select Winners – Monica Friday

Nollywood actress, Monica Friday recently jumped on Instagram to blast colleague, Zubby Michael for his statement on the AMVCA.

Zubby said AMVCA is a joke and very political plus the organizers are Yoruba people who have failed to realize the pillars of Nollywood.

Responding, Monica urged Zubby to know that judging a movie to determine award winners is not his business.

Her words, “How they judge a movie is not your business.”

She then told the actor to start organizing his own award ceremony and give his awards to whoever he likes if he feels the AMVCA organizers are partial to one tribe.

She then stated how the AMVCA winners are selected while adding that tribalistic comments are not the way to go.
