An African Movie Should’ve Made 2019 Oscar Nominations List – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

Nollywood actress and Nigeria’s Oscar Academy member, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is not happy with 2019 Oscar nominations.

The Nollywood legend took to Instagram expressed her disappointment that no African movie made the cut after the release of this year’s movie nominees.

Her words, “Wasn’t So Excited No African Movie made it!” Omotola added, “Someday soon we will be doing this for Africans!”

We can only hope that, with our movies gaining international recognition these days, it won’t be too long before we are part of the discussion in a mega way.
