Banky W Accused Of Receiving Bribe From Buhari

Bankole Wellington famously known as BankyW has been the subject of several forms of mockery since Saturday night.

The ridicule started after Banky W had his say on the sack of CJN Walter Onnoghen by President Buhari, then it escalated after a lady on Twitter accused him of receiving N57 million bribe from Buhari, a claim which he immediately denied with a threat to sue the accuser.

Nigerians have not gne easy on the popstar with their recent tweets.

A twitter user said, “See how Davido is speaking up? Falz too? But Banky W wants us to vote him into power for being the cool kid.”

Another said, “Where is the Proof that the CJN commited a crime. Now you understand the importance of being innocent until proven guilty, you understand the need for due process?

No Mr Banky, if anyone says you collected money, I believe the person.”

Someone else wrote, “Banky W is so naive politically.
He knows nothing whatsoever about politics, and each attempt at having a political opinion has seen him sounding ridiculous .
Maybe his only motivation is if Desmond Elliot can do it, I too can.”
