Breaking! Gunmen hijack children school bus in Nyanya, Abuja

There’s currently confusion and panic in Karu and Nyanya areas of Abuja after reports�that suspected Boko Haram members hijacked a schoolbus this morning�and kidnapped school children went viral. I hear anxious parents have even withdrawn their wards from schools there because of the scare.

The�stories initially�had it that two schools were invaded – Ave Maria Girls Secondary School and Vine International Academy but�here is the true story – Ave Maria was not involved. The school�
proprietor of Ave Maria confirmed on phone that their school wasn’t involved.�But at Vine International Academy in Nyanya, their school bus was taken this morning by gunmen.

Vine International school’s proprietress confirmed the gunmen tried to enter her school but eventually�couldn’t. And NO�child was taken away by them. Just their school bus.
