Buhari Did Not Query The I.G Of Police – Force PRO Speaks

The claims by Presidency officials that President Muhammadu Buhari had queried the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, for alleged disobedience to a presidential directive ordering him to relocate to Benue State after the New Year day killings in the state, has been debunked by the Nigerian Police.

THISDAY reports that Jimoh Moshood, the newly promoted Assistant Commissioner of Police and Force Public Relations Officer, said firmly that “The IGP was not queried.”

“There is very clear issue on that, that he was not queried by the President,” he added.
