Buhari Mourns Luther Cishak, Kasimu Yero

The death of the first President of the Christian Council of Nigeria (Christian Association of Nigeria. CAN) Rev. Luther Dabirong Cishak is a great loss to Nigeria, as he was a devoted and peaceful person, who promotes coexistence, tolerance and respect between religious groups.

The President expresses sadness over the demise of the Rev. who he described as one of Nigeria’s finest and religious leaders. The President recalled an incident that took place in 2013 crisis; the late Rev. Luther put his life in the line in other to protect others from being killed.

The President also mourns the loss of popular hausa Actor, Kasimu Yero who gave up the ghost after a struggle with protracted illness. He described the actor as a talented and entertaining actor.

The President extended his condolences to the family of both deceased family and different association they both belong. The actor is remembered in the role he played as Uncle Gaga in Cock Crow at Dawn.
