BvB Deserves To Win The UCL Vs Real Madrid – Mikel Obi

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi has come out to say that Borussia Dortmund will overcome Real Madrid in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Both teams are set to clash on Saturday, June 1 at Wembley for the prestigious trophy, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Borussia Dortmund definitely deserves to win the trophy more than Real Madrid, and since Madrid players already have several UCL titles in the bag, it is only fair.

Mikel added that it is funny how some Real Madrid players keep stacking trophies while not being the best in their positions compared to other clubs.

His words, “To be honest, I really hope that the Borussia Dortmund win the UCL final. They deserve it more than Real Madrid.

When you see that players like Kroos, Nacho, Carvajal and Modric won 5 trophies of the UCL it is a bit unfair because these players are not even close to being the best in their positions.

This shows that trophies can be misleading. I can name 10 players in the same positions that are better than these footballers.”
