Despite My Current Slim Figure, I Won’t Change My Name – Fat Joe

Popular rapper, Fat Joe has come out to say that he won’t be changing his stage name even if he is no longer fat.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, even after losing over 100lbs in the last decade, he doesn’t intend to give up his stage name because he has spent lots of millions on his brand.

Fat Joe added that his childhood experience as a fat kid inspired the name.

His words, “As a business I spent so many millions and millions of dollars marketing Fat Joe that it wouldn’t be smart to change my name now.”

“I grew up in the projects where there was no filter,’

“When the teacher would, say, write something on the chalkboard I was always big so the crack of [my butt] would show. So the girls would be like yeah Joey Crack and that’s how I kept my name.”
