Diddy Placed On Suicide Watch Ahead Of Trial Over S*x Trafficking Charges

Popular music executive, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly been placed on suicide watch as he awaits trial.

Recall that he was recently arrested at a hotel in New York and he has been charged with s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to new reports, Combs is currently on suicide watch, with sources describing the move as a preventative measure since he is in shock with his mental state unclear.

The U.S. Department of Justice National Institute of Corrections added that suicide watch is simply supervisory precautions taken for suicidal inmates that require frequent observation.

If found guilty, the mandatory minimum sentence Combs could face for the charges is 15 years, with a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Raised in Mount Vernon, New York, his mother Janice Combs (née Smalls) was a model and teacher’s assistant, and his father, Melvin Earl Combs, served in the U.S. Air Force and was an associate of convicted New York drug dealer Frank Lucas.

At age 33, Melvin was shot dead while sitting in his car on Central Park West, when Sean was two years old.
