Empire stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers Secretly Tied the Knot

Stars of the Fox hit TV show Empire, Grace Gealey and Trai Byers are married! According to TMZ, the couple who met on Daniel Lee’s set tied the knot in a uber-secret ceremony, inviting only close family and friends on April 14 at a Mansion in the Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbeans.
31 year old Grace who plays Anika Calhoun, Lucious’ former fiance and lover to Hakeem Lyon, and 32 year old Trai (Andre Lyon), Lucious and Cookie’s first son struggling with bipolar disorder reportedly did not invite any of their Empire co-stars to the ceremony. Guests were said to have danced the night away to hip-hop, disco and raggae music while dining on lobster and steaks

The pair got engaged on the actress’ 31st birthday in July 2015 when Trai popped the question at the surprise birthday party he organized for her. Us Weekly reported that the proposal caught her unawares and she couldn’t stop staring at her ring all night.
