Fayose Storms Community In Ekiti State Where Fulani Herdsmen Allegedly Killed A Man

Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has visited Ipao Ekiti town today 13 February, 2018 following the killing of a man in the town by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.

Governor Fayose who arrived Ekiti State yesterday evening mobilized security men including; Soldiers, Policemen, Civil Defence and local hunters to the town to prevent further loss of lives.

The Governor warned against people taking laws into their hands and directed that a committee should be set up to look into the immediate and remote causes of incessant attacks in Ipao Ekiti and surrounding towns.

Fayose said: “Anyone who kills will be fished out and punished in accordance with our laws and no one should kill cows here too.”
