George Akume Has Forgiven Samuel Ortom – Chief Regina Akume

The lawmaker representing Gboko/Tarka federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Chief Regina Akume has come out to say that her husband, Senator George Akume has chosen to forgive former Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom.

She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to Regina, her husband is a compassionate and forgiving individual who has a great love for the people of Benue, so it was quite easy to let things go with Samuel Ortom.

She then saluted the courage shown by the great party men who keep standing by their new governor.

Her words, “I am speaking here on behalf of my dear husband, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen George Akume, the man who has so much love for Benue people.

A dynamic young man who is so compassionate and forgiving, and as you can see, about a while ago, the former governor was here, but you did know what happened the last eight years ago, but he has forgiven him.

Our own governor is not here; no representative, but that’s what we have got. So, we said thank you to God for that too. Great party men came from all over. I salute your courage. I thank you for standing by His Excellency, my husband.”
