US President, Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden is planning to change his not guilty plea in his federal tax case.

His defense attorney, Abbe Lowell recently revealed this just as jury selection is set to begin for the trial, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, the judge must be aware of Hunter’s plans to change his previous plea, but he will not be providing further details at this time.

Mark Geragos, another attorney for the accused, said via text message that the president’s son intends to enter what is referred to as an Alford plea, an unusual plea under which a defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence to gain a conviction.

Lowell said, “There is overwhelming evidence of the defendant’s guilt. This can be resolved today. It’s not a complicated issue.”
