I Did Not Relocate To The UK, I Travelled For A Crusade – Kumuyi

The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi has come out to debunk circulating rumours about his alleged relocation to the United Kingdom.

He recently had his say via a message posted on the Facebook page of Cross River State Deeper Life, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he did not relocate anywhere, and he only travelled to the UK for a crusade and conference which could not be transmitted in Nigeria because of time difference.

Kumuyi added that it was a very long trip and he only needed a lot of rest to avoid returning weary.

His words, “You must have read that I relocated to the UK. Did I relocate?”

I did not relocate anywhere. I travelled for a crusade and conference, and because of the time difference, the events couldn’t be transmitted back home.

Some countries, like the one I visited in May, have about five hours of time difference. When it is 7 am here, it will be 2 am there. There’s no way I could transmit that here because of the time difference.

It was a long trip, and after that, I needed a few days to rest to avoid returning weary and unable to preach. So I waited. And because I spent that time, they told you that I have relocated.”
