I Don’t Censor The Views Of People I Personally Dislike On X – Elon Musk

X owner, Elon Musk has come out to say that the Biden administration pressuring Mark Zuckerberg to censor COVID misinformation on his platforms is a First Amendment violation.

Recall that Mark recently said that it was wrong to demand Facebook censor what they deemed COVID misinformation during the pandemic, and the world has been reacting.

Reacting, Musk wrote that the episode sounds like a First Amendment violation, unlike X where all viewpoints are supported within the bounds of the laws of different countries.

Elon added that he does not even censor the viewpoints of people he vehemently disagrees with and personally dislikes.

His words, “Just want to reiterate that this platform really is meant to support all viewpoints within the bounds of the laws of countries, even those of people with whom I vehemently disagree and personally dislike.

If that doesn’t seem to be happening, please yell at me (ideally on X).”
