‘I may not announce when I will be getting married’ – Don Jazzy on relationships

The 32-year music mogul recently had a sit down with Vanguard newspaper where he opened up about his love life, a possible collaboration with D’banj and the upcoming Mavin Access concert.

In the interview, Don Jazzy talked about how he has decided to take a break from relationships. He also revealed that he may not announce when he will be getting married, pointing out that he doesn’t see the reason why he has to.

I may not even announce that I will be getting married, I don’t understand why you people think I will just come and announce that I will be getting married. I am not that kind of person

he said

When asked if he has plans to make new music with former collaborator D’banj anytime soon, here is what he had to say:

It is possible. We will do it when we both settle down and agree we want to do it. Right now he is busy doing his own thing and I am also busy with my Korede, Reekado and Dija. We live in the same vicinity. By the time we sit down, we would create something. We would probably work again. As long as there is life, nothing is impossible

The talented producer has collaborated with likes of P-Square, Olamide and Iyanya, and he disclosed that he never charges for collaborations. According to him, it is always an honour for him to be featured on another artiste’s track.

Don Jazzy, who signed Reekado, Dija and Korede Bello last year, turning them into big stars overnight, also revealed he recently signed some rappers to his label and shared why he won’t be releasing a single anytime soon;

I am not thinking about releasing a single right now. I have people that need to succeed. I am happy developing people for now till death do me part. I already feel like I’m singing too much!

He finally talked about why he doesn’t carry his signature stick anymore, stating that he had to rebrand. He however assured that he would definitely carry it during the Mavin Access concert.
