Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu has come out to ask for public assistance as he battles an ailment that may cost him his leg.

He recently had his say via a viral clip on Instagram, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the medical doctors have said that if they exhaust the options they have which includes funds for proper treatment, they might have to resort to cutting off his leg eventually.

Mr Ibu added that Nigerians should not forget to pray for him to be free from his current predicament.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
