I Plead To Be Released Pending When The Judge Will Announce My Final Sentence – Dani Alves

Former Barcelona footballer, Dani Alves has come out to plead to be released from prison pending his final sentence for raping a woman in a Spanish nightclub.

He recently told a hearing on Tuesday morning, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, since he believes in justice, he vows to not run away if he is released before a final sentence is pronounced by the judge.

His words, “I believe in justice. I’m not going to run away.”

Prosecution is against the idea and they argue that there remains a flight risk given Alves’ wealth and the high penalty imposed.
