I Reconciled With Matawalle Because Of The People – Yari

Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari

Ex-Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari has come out to explain his decision to reconcile with Governor Bello Matawalle.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he didn’t just reconcile with Matawalle because he wants to attain a certain political position, he simply thought of the implications of their sour relationship on the people of the state.

He added that it is indeed true that when two elephants fight, it is the grass that will suffer.

His words, “I didn’t reconcile with Governor Matawalle simply because I want to attain a certain political position. But having thought of the implications of our sour relationship with the people of the state, I realise that, reconciliation is the best option.”

“It is often said that when two elephants fight, it is the grass that will suffer, as such, we have decided to close our ranks and come together to move our state forward.”
