I Thank Mapoly Students For Believing In Me – Zlatan Ibile

Popular singer, Zlatan Ibile has come out to celebrate 10 years in the entertainment industry.

He recently had his say via his Instagram page, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he had aspired to become a footballer before he started music, and he is forever grateful to the students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun state for helping him win a singing contest hosted by a telecommunication company, which earned him his first car.

He added that his musical breakthrough came in 2017 after a collaboration with YBNL boss, Olamide.

His words, “10 years ago, there was no Zlatan Ibile.
All there was, was an aspiring footballer.
Mapoly students believed in me by ensuring I won this contest!
From then, everything changed from football to music.
I did not have 2 personal songs let alone a hit until 2017 with Baddo.
Thank you to every Mapoly student who stood by me. Thank you Day 1 Zlatanovaz. Can’t believe today makes it exactly 10 years already… And we’re still going strong.
