Genevieve Nnaji is grateful to her supporters and fans and for accepting her movie, ‘Lionheart.’

In a tweet today, January 8, 2018, Genevieve wrote, ‘Thank you everyone for accepting #lionheartthemovie into your homes and your hearts. Worldwide. This is how we change the narrative.Together. Let us continue to bridge the gap.’

‘Lionheart’ has been described a true Nigerian story told in clear pictures by a female director who knows all there is to know about the power of a girl child and a female in the society.

Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer and director. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actress to win the award. In 2011, she was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contribution to Nollywood.
