Melania Trump and Donald Trump
Recall that ByteDance has an April 5 deadline to find a non-Chinese buyer for TikTok or face a U.S. ban on national security grounds.
According to him, he might consider lowering tariffs on China to make the deal happen because TikTok is really big.
He, however, added that while the platform is huge, every point in tariffs is worth more than TikTok.
His words, “China is going to have to play a role in approving a TikTok-related divestiture.
Maybe I’ll give them a little reduction in tariffs or something to get it done. TikTok is big, but every point in tariffs is worth more than TikTok.”
WOW.
