Indiscipline, Carelessness Are The Reasons For Disasters In Lagos – LASEMA

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA has come out to say that indiscipline and carelessness are the reasons for major disasters in the state.

The Director-General of the Agency, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu recently revealed this while fielding questions from journalists after a staff training which took place at Ikeja, Lagos State.

According to him, it is sad that most of the disasters taking place in Lagos are man-made, and citizens need to do more to help support emergency responses in the state.

He added that the recent staff training is aimed at boosting the knowledge and morale of the junior workers at the agency, thereby improving the quality of their work.
