I’ve Always Wanted 4 Kids – Mercy Johnson-Okojie

Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie and her husband, Prince Odi Okojie are expecting their 4th child.

The movie star made the announcement through her Instagram page on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

Alongside photos of her hubby, she flaunted a picture of a scan of the pregnancy and caption it, “We’re having a baby ❤️❤️ I’ve always wanted 4 kids…. always. However, after 3 kids, I thought I had retired from the baby-making business. So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way. I can’t explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought, or the cravings for food that have followed. I get so emotional easily, in fact right now I’ve started crying from joy again.”

“I’m sharing this with you my family for life, hanging on since day 1, growing with my family and I and always showing all the love. I love you all right back. Baby Okojie 2020 getting ready❤️ God bless you all!!”

Mercy Johnson Okojie (born 28 August 1984) is a Nigerian actress.

Mercy Johnson-Okojie hails from Okene in Kogi State. Born in Lagos to a former naval officer, Mr Daniel Johnson and Mrs Elizabeth Johnson, she is the fourth child in a family of seven. She started her primary education in Calabar. Her father, being a naval officer, was later transferred to Lagos State where she continued her education at a Nigerian Navy Primary School. She went to a Rivers State Secondary School for her secondary education in addition to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Right after her secondary education, she auditioned for a role in The Maid and subsequently acted in other movies such as Hustlers, Baby Oku in America, War in the Palace. In 2009, she won an award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2009 African Movie Award ceremony, and Best Actress award at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in the comedy movie Dumebi the Dirty Girl. In December 2011, she was listed as Google’s most searched Nigerian celebrity, a position she also held in 2012.She is the senior special assistant(SSA) to the kogi state governor on entertainment, arts and culture. She has been married to Prince Odianosen Okojie since 2011 and they have three children.
