Jidenna has released his latest music video for his boastful single ‘Chief Don’t Run‘.

Above an infectious beat, Jidenna is still showing off his bravado but on a less pop-friendly track than his 2015 hit.

‘I’m on a yacht with a prince in Dubai now,’ he says during the first verse. ‘I’m with the Dalai Lama’s homies in the sky lounge’.

Towards the end of the song, Jidenna references Wesley Snipes’ Legal Trouble, sing-rapping ‘Paid my dues/But they still tryin’ to Wesley Snipe us’.
