Kanye West will soon be a Doctor

Kanye West made his mark in the music industry as a college dropout, but now, that’s all about to change.

The “All Day” MC revealed that he’ll be receiving an honorary doctorate degree in May during a recent interview with Clique TV. Embedded from www.youtube.com. “I was a gifted artist since age five and won national competitions and went to art school”, Kanye said. “I’m actually getting an honorary doctorate on May 5th from the Art Institute of Chicago.”

Kanye famously dropped out of Chicago State University at the age of 20 back in 1997 to focus on his music career and used that educational sacrifice as the name for his groundbreaking debut album

Dr. Dre won’t be the only super producer with the D R designation in his name.
