Kcee Discovered Iyanya During A Karaoke Show In Calabar – Soso Soberekon

Popular music executive, Soso Soberekon has come out to say that Kcee put Iyanya on the path to stardom.

He recently had his say during a live chat with Daddy Freeze, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Kcee discovered Iyanya years ago while he was hosting a karaoke show in Calabar, and he immediately approached him with an offer to take him to Lagos to pursue his music career.

Kcee added that he had to meet the singer’s parents for approval before he could travel with them to Lasgidi.

Soso said, “He slept on the couch for four years because there was no extra room at the time. KCee’s family was living in the house, so the only available space was the couch; he wrote two songs for Kcee Presh then, and both were produced by me.”

Kcee added, “We had to meet his parents for approval before he could travel with us. We were already at the airport when he called to say his parents had finally agreed because they initially refused.”
